Cardio Workout Secret

Fact or Fiction?: Running or walking about one mile a day will help you to lose weight quickly and easily.

While most weight loss “gurus” will tell you this is fact, the truth is that it is absolutely false! You may be asking, “Why would the gurus lie to me and millions of others, and why does no one call them out on their lies?” The sad truth is that all the so-called “gurus” and “experts” want to keep you fat so that they can continue to market their overpriced and ineffective products to keep weight loss hopefuls in a perpetual cycle of failure.

Over $55 billion dollars is spent on weight loss products every year, and it should come to no surprise that in order to keep this number raising, the industry must use deception. Their claim is that effective weight loss consists of taking their “magic pill” and exercising by simply walking around. This couldn’t be any further from the truth.

The true cardio secret is to perform all cardio exercises on an inclined surface. After extensive analyzation of  weight loss studies, it was found that those who walked on an incline saw 90% more fat loss than those working out on a flat surface.

However, don’t freak out that you don’t have any naturally steep surfaces around your home, as the majority of weight loss patrons don’t have the luxury of a hill next to their home. It was also found that cardio exercises on an inclined treadmill or elliptical produced the same effects as did a naturally inclined surface.

In addition, a traditional stair case or stair revolving cardio machine was the most effective in the production of muscle and the loss of pure fat. However, both these options are very difficult on one’s knees, and I do not recommend anyone to use either of these options if elderly or any knee condition exists.

The Secrets of Cardio

So you probably already know that cardio is one of the most effective weight loss techniques ever. However, did you know that over 70% of people waste the majority of their workout because of improper techniques? It is already extremely difficult to find the time necessary to work out, so you need to use every second to the fullest!

 

The major problem regarding most people’s cardio workouts is that they burn almost no calories during the first 10-15 minutes of their workout. This is due to the fact one’s muscles are still being stretched out and warmed up before true progress occurs. In addition, this is also because most people like to psychologically “warm-up” for longer than is necessary for their muscles. Instead of taking 5 minutes for solid stretching, many people simply jump right into their workouts. When not specifically stretching, it takes exponentially longer to get your muscles warmed up and ready to burn some fat.

 

You may be asking, “Ok, so what should I do?”

 

Step 1: Travel to where you are going to work out. If it is just in your basement then this does not apply to you; however, if you are going to a park then you should wait till you arrive before stretching.

Step 2: Once arrived, stretch your muscles for 5 solid minutes. This will prepare your muscles for the workout and allow you to burn the maximum amount of fat once you get going.

Step 3: Perform your cardio workout. This can include walking, jogging, running, sprints, elliptical training, stair climbing, treadmill workouts, etc.

Step 4: Once done with the intensity part of your workout, make sure to cool down. If you were doing very intense running or sprints, it is important that you walk around and stay moving for about 5 minutes after you finish. If you simply stop after your intensity training, your muscles will tighten and could painfully cramp.
